"We're living with a second rate life, for the joyous experience of having a child."

For the past decade Jo has struggled with stress incontinence, following the birth of her child.

She rang in to explain how it鈥檚 affected her life, 鈥測ou have one embarrassing experience and it sets off a real emotional barrier in your head鈥� she said.

She told 5 Live鈥檚 Naga Munchetty, 鈥業t鈥檚 in my head all the time that I鈥檓 awake, worrying if I鈥檓 going to have an accident, and I know I鈥檓 not alone in this.鈥�

Since ringing into the show Jo has been in touch with her GP to arrange being referred to a specialist.

鈥淭his is a big day for me and I feel really positive about sorting out this problem that鈥檚 blighted my life鈥� she later told 5 Live.
