Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson, who are set to compete in the Winter Olympics in Beijing, speak about their inspiration to become skaters.

It was when watching Dancing On Ice in 2006 that Lewis began to follow his passion on the rink.

He said: 鈥淚鈥檇 finished playing football and was looking for something else to do, I thought that the celebrities loved what they were doing.

鈥淚 went along to my local rink and haven鈥檛 looked back,鈥� he said.

Lewis wasn鈥檛 sure how well known Torvill and Dean were when he first saw them, but he fell in love with what they were doing.

鈥淭hey鈥檝e both been very kind and wise with their words,鈥� he said.

Lilah wants to inspire younger people to get involved in skating.

鈥淲e want to spark joy in the hearts of everyone watching and encourage some young kids to get involved with the sport,鈥� she said.
