The London black taxi evacuating Ukrainians
More than two million Ukrainians have fled the war for other countries. For some, the kindness of strangers has been a major factor in securing their escape.
One such kind stranger is Roman Tymchyshyn, from Portadown in Northern Ireland, but originally from Lviv.
He has rescued around 80 people in his taxi - taking them to Poland: “I posted a message on social media and the following day I had my first passenger.”
Roman says most of those he helped were scared, tired, crying but others were positive about Ukraine's ultimate victory.
