Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe and daughter reunited at last

British woman Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe and fellow detainee Anoosheh Ashoori have been reunited with their families in the UK after years of detention in Iran.

According to Rana Rahimpour from the ѿý’s Persian Service, who is a close friend of Mrs Zaghari-Ratcliffe, it was only when they were seated on a plane that it became clear the “six years of nightmare is over”.

She told ѿý Newsday about the reaction of Gabriella, Mrs Zaghari-Ratcliffe's seven-year-old daughter, when they were finally reunited in the UK after six years: “She runs towards Nazanin and says, ‘Mummy you’re my life’.”
