Ukraine war 鈥榠s going to destroy Russia鈥檚 future鈥�
Grigory Yavlinsky is one of Russia's democratic opposition leaders and a former presidential candidate. He is a prominent proponent of economic reform who pushed Russian policymakers to implement market-friendly practices in the 1990s.
He is also a vocal critic of President Vladimir Putin. Despite the threat of fines and imprisonment for those Russians who criticise the war in Ukraine, Mr Yavlinsky tells 蜜芽传媒 Newsday that he is 鈥渟taying in Russia and I鈥檓 going to stay in Russia because I have a million voters here and I can鈥檛 leave the country but from the point of view of security, everything can happen, every hour鈥�.
