Ukraine suspends parties with pro-Russian links
Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelensky has suspended 11 pro-Russian parties, while the country is under martial law, warning that those collaborating with Moscow would face a firm response.
He has also ordered all of Ukraine's television news channels to broadcast a single stream of news.
One of Ukraine's biggest opposition platforms in parliament in Kyiv, the "For Life" group, has condemned the move.
Oleg Voloshyn, an MP for that party, told Newshour's Paul Henley what he made of the decision.
