Ukraine war: Dread takes toll on Odesa
Although there's been a noticeable pull out of Russian forces in the north of the country, the bombardment of Ukranian cities elsewhere continues. Last night, cruise missiles were fired at the cities of Dnipro, and Odesa. Both cities have seen an influx of people fleeing the fighting.
ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ correspondent Jonathan Beale meets residents in Odesa. The city is a strategic port on the Black Sea, with a population of about a million. Residents there describe the sense of unease the war has created. A mother, forced to move there when strikes hit her hometown of Mykolaiv, describes how the war is causing anxiety and dread in her son. (This report was made before the Russian strikes on Odesa on 3 April 2022.)
