Disney+鈥檚 latest Marvel miniseries Moon Knight premiered last week with Oscar Isaac in the lead role and May Calamawy playing friend and archaeologist Layla El-Faouly.

The pair told 5 Live鈥檚 Must Watch presenter Hayley Campbell that while no scenes were filmed in Egypt, the authenticity of the Cairo sets is something that鈥檚 鈥渘ot really been done before.鈥�

鈥淟ook at Indiana Jones or these different films, it鈥檚 just always off.鈥� said Isaac.

鈥淭hat鈥檚 something that, as an Arab, watching, they鈥檙e going to see that and really appreciate it and it just makes me happy that that鈥檚 available now.鈥� Calamawy added.
