Ukraine: MP describes seeing 'mass graves' in Bucha
Ukrainian MP Oleksii Goncharenko says people have been massacred in the city.
The recent images of dead bodies lying in mass graves and in the streets of the town Bucha in Ukraine has triggered a fresh wave of international outrage, and, inevitably, talk of more sanctions.
The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ has seen further evidence of civilian killings near Kyiv, including a shallow grave where four people were allegedly buried after being shot dead by Russian forces.
US President Joe Biden has called for the Russian president Vladimir Putin to face trial over war crimes.
Moscow's ambassador to the UN has insisted that no civilians were harmed, and accused Ukraine of fabricating evidence.
However, one person who says that Russian troops are carrying out inhumane attacks on Ukrainians in Bucha is the Ukrainian MP Oleksii Goncharenko. He has travelled to the city to document what has been going on.
He told Newsday: "I saw dozens of bodies of killed people, just lying on the street, just being in their cars being burnt down... Also I saw a mass grave with up to 20 bodies in black plastic bags. All of them are civilians."
