The leader of Derby City Council says it's still possible the council could buy Pride Park Stadium.
The offer by the preferred bidder Chris Kirchner, is for the club only, meaning the stadium is still owned by Mel Morris.
City council leader Chris Poulter says it's early days and the authority's not committed to anything yet, but it's not off the table.
