Elina Svitolina: 'We shouldn’t completely ban Russian players'
Ukrainian tennis star Elina Svitolina says Russian and Belarusian players should be allowed to play at Wimbledon if they condemn the invasion of Ukraine and Vladimir Putin’s regime.
The All England Club has confirmed that players from both countries won’t be allowed to compete at this year’s championships.
Svitolina told 5 Live Breakfast's Rick Edwards that silence from her colleagues is a betrayal and says 'they have to speak up and choose their side.'
The former Wimbledon semi-finalist is Ukraine’s highest ranked tennis player.
