What is gestational surrogacy and how does it work?

Gestational surrogacy is the most common type of surrogacy today. Here, the surrogate is not biologically related to the baby she is carrying. Using in vitro fertilization(IVF), the embryo is created using the intended mother’s egg and the intended father’s sperm, then transferred to the surrogate’s uterus.
