A two-month extension to the ceasefire in Yemen is now in effect, with the UN special envoy speaking of a rare glimmer of hope. Hans Grundberg says Yemenis have experienced the tangible benefits of the ceasefire that was implemented at the start of April, with civilian casualties significantly reduced and fuel deliveries increased.
