The ITV2 show鈥檚 eighth season returned last night showcasing a new format for contestants.

Rose, who hosts the 鈥極ff The Island鈥� podcast, was delighted with the changes.

Speaking to 5 Live Breakfast鈥檚 Rick Edwards, Rose said 鈥渢hey certainly started the show off with a bit of a bang.鈥�

鈥淲e had some initial pairings that were voted for by the audience鈥�, she said. 鈥淚 think the pairings were done relatively well but I don鈥檛 think the couples were too happy.鈥�
