Pension Credit: ‘800,000 pensioners are who are entitled are not claiming it’
Personal finance expert Martin Lewis tells 5 Live’s Nihal Arthanayake why people over 65 could be missing out by not utilising their pension credit.
As today is ‘Pension Credit Day of Action’, Martin emphasises the need for people to have access to a ‘top-up payment’ which could offer an “average pay-out of £3,300 per year”.
“Check if you’re of state pension age (66 or older) and have a total weekly income roughly under £200 and then call the Pension Credit claim line to see if you’re eligible.”
“800,000 pensioners are who are entitled are not claiming it- check if you’re entitled.”
