‘You had to teach yourself to walk again… then ten months later won an Olympic medal?’
Anyika Onuora is a retired sprint track and field athlete who won World Championship, European Championship, and Olympic medals for @teamgb. She spoke to Emma Barnett on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 4's Woman's Hour about her journey to win bronze at the Rio Olympic Games in 2016 after recovering from malaria.
She also discussed her new memoir - My Hidden Race – which details her life and experiences as a Black British woman in international sports.
