Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting takes place in Rwanda

The Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting is due to take place in Rwanda's capital Kigali tomorrow.
They shall decide who should lead the 54-nation body that encompasses 2.5 billion people.
The Queen of the United kingdom remains titular head of the Commonwealth, and will be represented by her son Prince Charles in Kigali.
Several government leaders are expected to arrive for a week of events, including forums to discuss various issues blighting the group.
However, a major concern that critics have includes Rwanda hosting the summit, due to the country's human right's record.
The country has been criticised for the jailing of political opponents, and intolerance to criticism or political dissent.
One of the few opposition voices in the country includes the leader of the Democratic Green Party, Frank Habineza.
He told Newsday, "Previously (that's about 10 years ago) our party - had a serious issue of Rwanda's entry into the Commonwealth, because we seriously believed that Rwanda was not ready to join the Commonwealth as it lacked some of the credentials to fulfill the values of the Commonwealth membership. So we did really quorate with other political parties all over the world - so we had strong statements and the issues we aligned at the time were issues concerning freedom of press, which was a serious challenge, and then issues of freedom of political assembly, and then freedom of expression, those were pertinent issues".
