William Pesek is a Tokyo-based journalist who writes opinion for Nikkei Asia and Forbes. He tells Newsday that Mr Abe “was a rather polarising figure but I think certainly in terms of the manner of his death, has created a great deal of sympathy for his family and for his legacy.”
