South Africa bar shootings: Police seek five armed men
The hunt to find the killers of 15 people in a bar in Soweto in Johannesburg, South Africa, continues.
Lirandzu Themba is the Police Ministry spokesperson in South Africa. She told Newsday that they are “looking for five armed men that we believe are responsible” for the attack in which "over 130 bullets were fired" from AK47 assault rifles.
The Soweto attack coincided with another hit on a bar in Pietermaritzburg in KwaZulu-Natal province in which four people were killed. Two people have been arrested, but police do not believe that the two incidents are linked.
