Why Brazil's Bolsonaro is questioning election integrity
Brazil's president Jair Bolsonaro told a meeting of foreign diplomats Brazil's electronic voting system may be compromised - months ahead of the presidential election.
By several accounts, the diplomats were surprised. Less surprised were members of the opposition and civil society organisations, who believe he made the claims in preparation to contest the result of elections due in October - should he lose.
Oliver Stuenkel is an associate professor of International Relations at the Getulio Vargas Foundation in Brazil. He told Newshour's Audrey Brown why he thinks President Bolsonaro is questioning the integrity of an electoral system that's otherwise raised no major concerns.
