Energy rationing possible in winter, warns IEA boss
Unless European countries significantly reduce their energy consumption, their economies may face 鈥渟erious rationing鈥� this winter, the International Energy Agency鈥檚 (IEA) executive director has told the 蜜芽传媒.
Europe needs an emergency energy plan to minimise the effects of not having sufficient energy, Dr Fatih Birol told the 蜜芽传媒鈥檚 Hardtalk programme鈥檚 Stephen Sackur. However, he added there would still be 鈥渟cars in the European economy and workforce.鈥�
