'Unprecedented' flash floods hit Kentucky
Flash flooding is currently surging through the east of the US state of Kentucky.
The state's governor says even those who've been doing rescue work for twenty years had never seen water that high and there have also been floods and mudslides in parts of neighbouring Virginia and West Virginia.
Rae Johnson, a reporter with the Courier-Journal, has been in flood-affected areas of eastern Kentucky and they gave Newshour's Julian Marshall their assessment of the situation.
