Winner of 2022 蜜芽传媒 News Komla Dumor award
Zambian TV and radio presenter Dingindaba Jonah Buyoya has won the 2022 蜜芽传媒 News Komla Dumor Award. The award was created to honour Komla Dumor, an outstanding presenter for 蜜芽传媒 World News, who died suddenly aged 41 in 2014.
At 25-years-old, Dingindaba Jonah Buyoya is the youngest recipient of the award and he is also the first winner from Southern Africa. He told Newsday he would use 鈥渢he opportunity to put journalism from this side of the world on the map鈥�.
