Winner of 2022 ѿý News Komla Dumor award
Zambian TV and radio presenter Dingindaba Jonah Buyoya has won the 2022 ѿý News Komla Dumor Award. The award was created to honour Komla Dumor, an outstanding presenter for ѿý World News, who died suddenly aged 41 in 2014.
At 25-years-old, Dingindaba Jonah Buyoya is the youngest recipient of the award and he is also the first winner from Southern Africa. He told Newsday he would use “the opportunity to put journalism from this side of the world on the map”.
