Could the Kenyan election result see a legal battle ahead?

After a long wait for the initial result, Raila Odinga's proposed legal challenge means Kenyans are facing more uncertainty in the coming weeks.

But how long could this process take - how will it work, and what can we learn from previous elections, such as 2017, when the result was successfully overturned via the Supreme Court?

To help break this down, Newsday spoke to Waikwa Wanyoike, a constitutional lawyer, who directed one of the petitions last time around, and asked him what a legal challenge could look like.
