Is it time for Manchester United鈥檚 owners to move on?
Manchester United got a much needed first win of the season against bitter rivals Liverpool on Monday evening at Old Trafford. For United it had not been the best start to the season, losing their opening two matches to Brighton and Brentford and there have been protests against ownership of the club by the American Glazer family.
Dwight Yorke is a former Manchester United striker. He told Newsday the win was 鈥渦nexpected and took us all by surprise鈥� but that 鈥渟ometimes you need a facelift; you need a new direction鈥nd maybe it鈥檚 an opportunity for a new ownership to take a new stand in taking the club forward鈥�.
