George Ezra: ‘Walking does so much for me’
Singer-songwriter George Ezra tells 5 Live why he’s always loved walking since being a child.
Ahead of his Channel 4 documentary ‘End To End’, George tells 5 Live Nihal’s Arthanayake that he would choose to walk across London for interviews.
“If I knew I had a meeting in London at 11am, I would leave my flat at 9am and ask, ‘Have you got a shower for me when I get there?” he said.
He explains that walking benefits him in the same way that “cooking, crochet or team sport” impacts other people.
“We start to switch off and switching off doesn’t mean my mind’s gone blank, it just means you’re figuring things out.”
