Our ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio WM Make a Difference awards are just around the corner. We received hundreds of nominations for people doing incredible things across the West Midlands.
Sheila Shand has been nominated due to the impact she has had on netball in Birmingham in the past 50 years.
Sheila started her own netball league in 1967 and has gone on to develop the first junior section for 11 to 15 year olds in Birmingham. She still runs Billesely Little League on a Saturday morning, assisting the coaches in running the 5 teams of 10 girls playing netball.
