Zaporizhzhia: 'Concern' over UN nuclear agency findings
The IAEA has released it's findings and recommendations for Europe's largest nuclear power plant in Zaporizhzhia. The findings of the 14-strong team have caused considerable alarm, during the visit its head Rafael Grossi warned of a very real risk of nuclear disaster. One recommendation is that a security zone be set up immediately to shield the facility from fighting.
Olli Heinonen, former deputy director general of the IAEA and now a distinguished fellow at the Stimson Centre, a Washington-based think tank, gives his analysis: "The situation needs to be radically modified in order to ensure safe operation of plant."
