‘I don’t think people realise the wellbeing that trees give you’
Josephine Hedger, who works as an arborist, spends most of her time 60ft up in the air, looking across the tops of trees and magnificent views.
This year, she won the Women’s European Tree Climbing Championship in Belgium - marking her fifth European crown.
She joined Emma Barnett on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour to discuss how it felt to win, what the competition actually involves and the skills it takes to be a champion tree climber.
