Council tax increases and cuts considered as energy crisis hits local authorities
Research by ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ CWR has found councils on our patch are forecasting energy cost increases of up to 300 per cent.
In Coventry, the council has forecast an increase in energy costs of £3million this financial year.
Cllr Richard Brown, cabinet member for finance at Coventry City Council, tells ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ CWR's Political Reporter, Simon Gilbert, every option is being considered as the council faces huge financial pressures.
