Brazil's presidential election goes to second round
Jair Bolsonaro has defied opinion polls by forcing a run-off vote in Brazil's presidential election. The left-wing former leader, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, won forty-eight percent of first-round votes, compared with forty-three percent for Mr Bolsonaro.
Heloise voted for Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. She told Newsday: “There will be a lot of tension in these future weeks.”
