How strict are Thailand's gun laws?
An ex-policeman has killed at least 37 people, most of them children, in a gun and knife attack at a childcare centre in north-east Thailand. Police say the man then killed himself and his family after a manhunt following the attack.
Mass shootings in Thailand are rare - so how easy is it to get a gun in the country? Dr. Paul Chambers, an expert on security and democracy at Naresuan University in Thailand, says it can be "quite easy" for some.
