Canada hockey scandal: a 'woman-hating culture'
Canada’s most popular sport, ice hockey, is in the grip of a major scandal.
Details have been emerging over how the sport’s governing body, Hockey Canada, has dealt with a number of serious sexual assault charges against players going back decades.
The organisation's Interim Board Chair, Andrea Skinner, was forced to resign and the federal government has frozen funding. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau warned the governing body has lost the confidence of citizens there.
The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Rebecca Adams spoke to Canadian sport journalist, Laura Robinson, who's been following the case closely. She's the author of the book 'Crossing the Line: Violence and sexual assault in Canada's National Sport'.
