Nigeria floods: ‘Big houses are being swallowed by water’
Nigerian authorities say more than 500 people have been killed in heavy rains and floods across the country, while some 800,000 have been displaced. Many homes have been submerged or damaged.
Vast amounts of farmland have also been devastated, which has led to concerns of food shortages across Nigeria.
The country is hit by floods every year, but this year's is the worst in more than a decade, with more flooding expected in coming weeks.
One area that has been affected is Lokoja in Kogi state. Lucky Udu, a YouTuber, has been documenting the disaster and the devastation people are facing there.
