'Astonishment' in Germany at UK political crisis
UK prime minister Liz Truss is standing down after just 45 days in office.
Her resignation follows a bruising four weeks in which the government's mini-budget prompted financial market turmoil. Truss's resignation means she is the shortest-serving prime minister in UK history.
So how is the chaos being viewed around Europe? Newshour's Rebecca Kesby has been speaking to Melanie Amann, Berlin bureau chief for Der Spiegel magazine.
