'Grief is a sacred process and Alex Jones has defiled that'
In 2012, 20 children and six adults were killed in a school shooting at Sandy Hook elementary in Newton, Massachusetts.
At the time of the massacre, conspiracy theorist Alex Jones claimed the shooting was a hoax and that the parents of those who were killed were ‘crisis actors’.
Earlier this month, he was ordered to pay the families $965m (£869m) in damages.
Nicole Hockley’s six-year-old son Dylan, and Robbie Parker’s daughter Emilie, who was also six years old, were killed in the shooting.
They tell Naga Munchetty the impact Alex Jones has had on their lives.
“Before I even buried Emilie…I had someone send me a message telling me how they had been fantasising about what they would do with a baseball bat to my head,” Robbie says.
