North Korea missile crosses maritime border with South
North and South Korea have both fired missiles landing in waters off each other's coasts for the first time.
Pyongyang initially launched at least ten missiles, with one landing less than 60km off the South's city of Sokcho. Seoul retaliated with three of its own missiles.
Dr Robert E Kelly is from the Department of Political Science at Pusan National University in South Korea. He told Newsday: “There’s not much we can do except counter-arm…if North Korea are going to do these kinds of things…we’re gonna have to punch back.”
