Armed with cameras and training, a group of Maasai women have been capturing how climate change is affecting their land and livelihoods. Their community in Amboseli, Kenya, is reliant on livestock for food and an income. But persistent droughts threaten this traditional way of life.

Non-profit organisation Lensational began the photography project to help give the underrepresented group a voice in climate discussions.

CEO Lydia Wanjiku explains how the photos are used, while Maasai photographers Claire Metito and Mama Esther tell us how the project has helped their community understand and adapt to climate change.
