Elon Musk's wireless brain chip: Would you sign up?

Could a wireless brain chip enable disabled patients to move and communicate?
Billionaire Elon Musk says that his company Neuralink will begin human clinical trials in six months.
He hopes the chips can be used for a variety of ailments, including perhaps restoring people's vision.
But how feasible is such technology?
Danielle Carr, an Assistant Professor at UCLA at the Institute for Society and Genetics, says "the more inflated claims such as depression or anxiety being eradicated... this is delusional science theatre."
