What's happening with Covid in China?

Two different indications are emerging about the Covid situation in China. On the one hand, authorities are reporting no new fatalities in the latest Covid statistics update. On the other, there are widespread reports and images of overloaded hospitals and crematoriums and queues of hearses.

China has also moved to a narrower definition of Covid deaths, which will drastically cut its death statistics as cases increase.

So what does it feel like for those in the capital, Beijing, two weeks into the government's decision to abandon its stringent zero-Covid policies? We hear from Henry Wang, Founder & President of the Center for China & Globalization, which has links to the Chinese Communist Party.
