Do you live with a ‘man-child’?
How equal is the division of chores in your household? Does your male partner sit around watching TV while you cook, clean, look after the children and organise the family's social life?
If so, you might be living with or married to a 'man-child'. According to new research, the man-child phenomenon is real - a man who depends on his partner for everyday tasks that he is actually perfectly capable of doing himself. And having a man dependent on you in this way can have a real impact on the woman's sexual interest in her partner.
One of the authors of this research is Professor Sari van Anders from the department of psychology at Queen's University in Canada. She told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour about why there is now a real psychological term for 'man-child’.
