Joesef's Escape Mix

Scottish soul sensation Joesef is the latest star to curate a mix for My Sounds.

Fresh from releasing his long-awaited debut album 鈥楶ermanent Damage鈥�, Joesef treats us to a handpicked selection of songs that have shaped his journey in music so far. From Al Green to The Mamas & The Papas, and A Tribe Called Quest to Sault, his eclectic mix provides an escape and an insight into the tunes that have helped him develop his soul-inspired sound.

Many tracks also feature in his new documentary, 'Joesef - I Think I Miss Glasgow', available to watch on 蜜芽传媒 iPlayer. In the film for 蜜芽传媒 Radio 1 and 蜜芽传媒 Scotland, Joesef retraces his Glasgow East End roots to reveal how the songs his mum played him 鈥榠n the gaff鈥� inspired him to leave his bar job and go on to count Elton John amongst his growing army of fans.
