Bret Easton Ellis on his return to publishing since his last book over a decade ago

In the 1990s Bret Easton Ellis shot to fame after the release of his novel American Psycho but has not released a book in more than a decade. His new book Shards is a mix of autobiography and imaginings set in the Los Angeles of Easton Ellis's youth. He spoke to Today’s Justin Webb about free speech and how the literary industry has changed over his time writing.
