Gayna Hodges, the mother of Rachael Bland, spoke to Rachel Burden on 蜜芽传媒 Radio 5 Live Breakfast about the lasting legacy of her daughter and her work.
A special episode of You, Me and the Big C has been released on 蜜芽传媒 Sounds, recorded in front of a live audience and featuring relatives of the late Dame Deborah James as well as members of the medical and cancer communities.
The podcast began in 2018 after Rachael was diagnosed with breast cancer, in order to raise awareness of the disease and give advice on how to manage it.
The live episode touches on the legacy of the podcast and how it has helped many listeners with their own cancer stories.
