Exclusive data obtained by the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ shows police are recording a rising number of dog attacks in England and Wales. Records obtained through Freedom of Information requests show the number of dog attack offences recorded by officers has risen by a third between 2018 and 2022.  Since April 2016, police forces have spent more than £21m on kennels and vets bills for out of control dogs they've seized.
Many people who've been attacked by dogs are left with both physical and emotional scars.
