Adidas Kanye West's Yeezy shoes 'collectors' item'
Kanye West had a successful relationship with the sportswear brand Adidas until last year. Adidas decided to cut ties with the rapper in October after he made a series of offensive, antisemitic comments. The company removed all products from West's range from the shelves. But that's left the German company with a mountain of unsold goods including his signature Yeezy trainers piling up in the stock room. As the company grapples with what to do with the stock - the shoes have become a collectors' items, resold for higher and higher prices. John Mocadlo is Chief Executive of the sports shoe retail chain, Impossible Kicks - he told the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ why the controversy hasn't dented sales.
