Actor Jason Watkins on losing a child
Jason Watkins lost his two-year-old daughter Maude in 2011 to sepsis.
The actor and his wife Clara are campaigning for more awareness of the signs of sepsis.
After the death of his daughter, Jason said he was “lucky in some ways to go to work and be distracted”.
He added that by playing a character who is also grieving, he can “access [his] own feelings… and communicate what it’s like to lose a child”.
