The Covid-19 pandemic has not been declared over just yet by World Health Organisation. Moreover, Africa experiences more than 100 health emergencies every year, more than any other continent; and on July 17, 2022, Ghana declared its first outbreak of the Marburg virus disease. The Marburg outbreak was declared over in mid-September. Four days later, Uganda declared its fifth outbreak of the Sudan Ebola virus.
