Buruli Ulcer is a neglected tropical disease affecting the skin and the bone. It mainly affects poor people and if left untreated, it can cause permanent disfigurement and long-term disability. The burden of this disease is in Australia and West African countries including Ghana. The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½â€™s Dorcas Wangira met some of the people suffering from this disease in Ghana, and also met Dr. Lydia Mosi, a leading figure in Ghana’s fight against Buruli ulcer.
