The killing of Russian military blogger Vladlen Tatarsky is being investigated as a "high profile murder" authorities have said. Tatarsky was a guest speaker at an event hosted by a cafe in St Petersburg when a bomb went off. Reports say Mr Tatarsky was handed a statuette which then exploded. It is not clear who was responsible for the blast but Olga Lautman, a Senior Fellow at the Center for European Policy Analysis and the co-host of the Kremlin File Podcast told Newsday that they have a female suspect and are now looking for her and her husband. The suspect told her friend "she was set up and could have died "at the scene. Tatarsky had half a million followers on Telegram and was pro-Kremlin, though had recently been critical of the Russian defence Ministry and its handling of the Ukraine war.
